  • Manufacturer: Taban Shimi Kian Company

Product specifications

This kit is designed to measure phosphorus in dicalcium phosphate, monocalcium phosphate and phosphoric acid.

Laboratory boxes containing the required kits and solutions.

This product contains a reagent powder and identification solutions that can determine the amount of phosphorus in dicalcium and monocalcium phosphate, as well as phosphoric acid, with high accuracy in less than 2 minutes.

Spectroscopic method and creation of visible color.

  • Speed of testing.
  • No need for specialized personnel.
  • High accuracy.
  • Can be used in livestock and poultry farms.

To get started, you must first make sure that the powder whose phosphorus is to be measured is calcium phosphate or not?
Because the powder we are measuring may contain phosphorus but not dicalcium phosphate, for example, apatite soil or bone powder or…. For this, a small spoon is included in the kit, we pour 1 spoon of the powder into the test tube and add 4 cc of HCL to it, if the powder starts to boil in acid and after a while all the powder dissolves and disappears, the present powder is dicalcium.
Otherwise, whatever it is cannot be used as dicalcium phosphate. If the powder is dicalcium phosphate, follow the steps below to measure phosphorus.
1- Pour some of the powder into a mortar and grind it thoroughly.
2- Pour 1 spoon of the present powder into a test tube.
3- Add 5 cc of distilled water to the tube and shake thoroughly (1 minute).
4- Take 1 drop of the above product with a dropper and pour it into the second test tube.
5- Add 5 cc of distilled water to the drop.
6- Add 1 teaspoon of Po4 powder to the above solution.
7- Add 5 drops of Po4 solution and shake thoroughly for 10 seconds.
8- Compare the resulting colored solution with the color indicator and the amount of phosphorus can be measured from the color of the solution.

*Note: To read the amount of phosphorus, you must allow 30 seconds from the time of adding the Po4 drop and read that the color of the solution will change after 1 minute.

To start measuring phosphoric acid, first we must make sure that the acid we receive is the same acid that the acid sales company delivered to the tanker. To determine this, we take 1 drop of acid from the tanker and pour it into 1 test tube and pour 1 drop of the control sample that the phosphoric acid manufacturer delivered to the driver sealed in the second test tube. At the same time, we add up to 5 cc of distilled water to each of the tubes and shake until it dissolves. Then we add 1 flat spoon of Po4 powder to each tube, then we add 5 drops of Po4 solution to each. After 45 seconds, we compare the colors of the two tubes. If the two tubes are the same color, it indicates that the acid was delivered to you without any tampering on the way, and otherwise, the acid was tampered with on the way.

Compare the color of the tanker acid solution with the color indicator in the kit and read the P2O5 value.
